My Dear Parishioners,

Reaching out to you each week is a priority. It is important for us to let you know that the work of the parish continues. We are moving forward. The church area has now been cleared and we have hired an architect, AC Martin, to draw up plans for our property. We are also working on plans to open our School in September 2026.

In the meantime, we continue to welcome you to:

We invite the women of our parish to join us for a day of healing and self-growth. Reflect on stories of resilience, and the beauty that arises from hardship.

Presenters: Kate Santoro, Author of Truth on the Run, who will discuss spiritual endurance; and Sr. Inez,
CSJ, who will talk about blind faith.

CSJ CROSSOVER

The Sisters of St. Joseph here at the Carondelet Center are asking for our help to support families who no longer have an option to apply for asylum. On November 1, 2025, The Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (L.A.) along with partners, are hosting a Dia de los Muertos celebration in Mexicali, Mexico. They plan to be a prayerful presence for our migrant brothers and sisters living in a migrant shelter.

They are asking for our help as they are in need of:

Cash
Rolling Suitcases
Toiletries (shampoo, deodorant, lotion, soap, toothbrushes/toothpaste, wet wipes
Clothing (men/women) jeans, T-shirts, underwear (sports bras preferred)

Please bring donations to the Carondelet Center by Monday, October 27. Feel free to bring donations to Mass on Sundays. There will be a collection area.

Please remember in your prayers the following long-time parishioners who have recently died:
Jim McGinn and Josh Pack. May they rest in peace in God’s loving arms.
