WHAT'S
GOING ON
at
CORPUS CHRISTI CHURCH
We are always trying to grow and truly be representative of the Gospel and the Church.
I would love your opinion and input.
What are your opinions of what we can do to share the Gospel?
Is there anything we can do for you, Brothers and Sisters, in our community?
Do you have any suggestions for our website?
Please complete the form below and submit it to us. You do not have to provide your name and email address. It is optional.
My Dear Parishioners,
I wanted to share this blessing with you on this special day when we celebrate our mothers:
Father, we give you thanks for the many gifts you have given us; the gift of life, the gift of those who love us.
We thank you today for the gift of our mothers. We give thanks for our mothers who have died and for the
unique way they have revealed for us your love. We ask that you bless them and keep them in your care until the time comes for us to join them in your Kingdom.
We ask your blessing upon the mothers who are unable to be with us here today. May they know how much we love and care for them.
We pray for birth mothers who have loved their children so much they have shared the gift of their child with those who could better care for them and their needs, and give them a secure home.
And we pray for adoptive mothers, that they may always know their special role of being a true mother, a revelation of God’s love for their children.
We ask your blessing upon mothers who have lost children through stillbirth, crib death, accident and tragedy, war and violence; that they may have your continuing strength and courage.
We ask your blessing too, upon those who would very much like to be mothers but who are having trouble having a child.
We ask your blessing upon the mothers standing before us here at Corpus Christi Church. Give them the strength to live the faithful and loving lives you call them to live. Protect and guide them. Keep them in your care.
We ask this blessing in the name of Jesus, our Lord.
AMEN”
Siempre Adelante!

Live Streaming Mass
VOLUNTEER
POSITION
We will train you for this
surprisingly easy task
We are very excited
that Corpus Christi will soon be able to make our
Sunday Mass available on the Parish website via live
streaming! This means the experience of Mass will
be available to our homebound parishioners and to
anyone else who would like to view our Mass, but is
unable to attend on Sunday.
This new
technology also presents an opportunity for a volunteer
position at Corpus Christi on the Sundays that we
are recording the Mass. We are looking for someone
to help make this a reality. If you are interested,
contact the parish office at 310- 454-1328, or by
email at parishmail@corpuschristichurch.com.

Homeless Outreach
in Pacific Palisades
Pacific Palisades
has experienced an increase in its homeless population
over the past several years. In October of 2014 a
group of local people formed the
Pacific Palisades Task Force on Homelessness.
This Task Force is made up of community volunteers
committed to compassionately addressing the serious
issues associated with the homeless. They have decided
to reach out to a group of experts that have experience
in empowering homeless people to rebuild their lives.
This group is the OPCC and our local task force is
hoping to work with them in trying to respond to this
challenge in our community.
We here at Corpus
Christ are have committed a fund to support the task
force.
Catholic Coalition
for Habitat for Humanity
First Annual
Catholic Coalition for Habitat for Humanity
Corpus Christi Parish has been invited
to participate in the First Annual Catholic Coalition
for Habitat for Humanity through which several parishes
from the Los Angeles Archdiocese will build one of
three homes in Lynwood. There are opportunities
for financial support as well as actually pounding
nails in the contruction of a singel family
home. Please read more about the Catholic Coalition.
