2024-25 Religious Education Program

for 1st - 8th Grades is continuing after the fires.

Everyone is in our prayers as we adjust to this new reality.

MONDAY, IN-PERSON SESSIONS

Starting Monday, January 27th, sessions will be held at St. Monica Parish in Santa Monica from 4-5 p.m.  Please meet us that day in the Caruso Grand Pavilion.

We will then follow the regular schedule of classes (see below).  If any adjustments need to be made, we will let you know.

"A FAMILY OF FAITH"

Sessions will continue on Zoom as per the regular schedule (see below).

Our next parent Zoom is Thursday, February 6th from 7-8 p.m.

We are getting access to the books online and will be sharing the links with parents once we get them from the publisher.

Any families displaced who would like to switch from in-person classes to the online "A Family of Faith" program are most welcome.  Just email janey@corpuschristichurch.com to let us know.

We are going forward with First Reconciliation and First Communion for our children.  Details will be shared once we know more.

Description of Programs

Families may choose one of two options.

Successful completion of requirements

for either option counts as one year of

Religious Education preparation for First Communion.

OPTION #1:

"A Family of Faith"

A Family Catechesis parent-led

at-home program.

Required monthly 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. parent Zoom meetings

from September 19, 2024 through May 8, 2025.

OR

OPTION #2:

Religious Education On-Site Classes

with children attending in-person sessions

Monday afternoons from 3:45 to 5:00 p.m.

from September 23, 2024 through May 19, 2025.

(Please do not schedule your child for other activities on Monday afternoons.

Full participation is needed each class day.  Thank you.)
