Sacrament of Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation. Maturing in their Catholic faith is a life-long journey. As teens are beginning to establish a personal faith identity, Confirmation preparation is a process in Catholic growth based on the belief that teens are at a significant point in their faith journey. Confirmation preparation is offered to youths in 9th through 12th grade. The program is a two-year process. Within these two years, the candidates will have an opportunity to participate in a variety of experiential exercises through Confirmation sessions, service projects, retreat experiences, Youth Day and much more. Each candidate is expected to attend the 2 sessions a month. A strict attendance policy is followed.

Confirmation 2008-2009

For a complete registration, the forms below need to be completed and mailed back to the Youth Ministry Office before September 14, 2008:

· Registration Form along with the Registration Fee of $130.00

· Copy of child’s Baptismal Certificate

· A Behavior Contract

Confirmation Orientation Meeting

Confirmation Orientation Meeting for both Year I and II is scheduled for Sunday, September 28, 2008 from 4:00-5:15 pm in the Parish Hall. At least one parent and child need to attend this meeting.

Parent/Candidate Interviews

Before the Candidate begins the Confirmation program, you and your child meet with the Confirmation Coordinator. During this meeting the Confirmation Coordinator discusses with the Candidate their reasons for participating in the Confirmation Preparation Program. This is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. Come prepared with all your questions about the process.

Middle School Ministry
Middle School Ministry is a great place to meet friends in a faith-filled environment. We play games, participate in service projects, and LOVE to have fun! We meet every Wednesday from 7-8:30 pm in the Parish Hall. (unless otherwise noted). All youth in grades 6-8 are invited to join us.
